Mello is a cylinder wall sconce in powder coated metal, mounted so the head rotates in its bracket. That one movement is what makes it useful rather than purely decorative: the beam can be turned toward a book, a picture or the wall itself after the fitting is installed, instead of being locked in place the moment it goes up. Beside a bed it becomes a reading light; turned to the wall it becomes a soft wash.
Colour is the other reason to choose it. Soft gray, white and green read as considered objects against a plain wall rather than as hardware, which is why this modern sconce works beside a headboard, along a hallway or flanking a sofa, where a plain black tube would simply look like equipment. A pair in two different colours still reads as a set because the form stays the same.
