A recessed bar carrying multiple small heads in a single line, used to wash a wall evenly from the ceiling rather than to light the floor. The anti glare treatment is threefold, the heads are set deep, the openings are baffled and the lens is polarised, so from normal standing height you see the lit wall and not the diodes doing it.
Three configurations are offered, five, ten and fifteen heads, which correspond roughly to a short alcove, a standard wall and a full room length run. Buying the right length matters more here than with most fittings, because an evenly spaced bar across the whole wall gives a continuous wash, while a short bar centred on a long wall leaves the ends dark.
High CRI LED chips mean artwork, paint colours and material finishes show accurately instead of flattening out, which is why this fitting is as common in galleries and retail as in living rooms. Three colour temperatures are selectable, cool white, warm white and neutral white. The body is aluminium for heat dissipation, and it recesses into a ceiling, a wall or the top of a display cabinet. Sets of up to ten are available where several runs are needed across adjoining rooms or a longer commercial space, and ordering them together keeps the colour temperature matched.
