Rounded, glossy and full of character, the Porcini mushroom lamp brings a playful retro note to any room. The smooth dome shade spreads a soft glow downward and outward, while the high gloss finish catches the light by day, making it a cheerful design object even when switched off.
Seven colours are offered, from classic white to orange, red, yellow, apple green, sky blue and dark blue. Bright tones add a bold, 1970s inspired pop of colour to neutral rooms, while white keeps the look clean and modern. Measuring about 12.6 inches across and 9.1 inches tall, it has a generous, sculptural presence on a nightstand, desk, sideboard, shelf or kids' room dresser without taking up too much height. The thick glossy finish wipes clean easily and keeps its shine for years.
It plugs into a standard outlet with an inline switch on the cord, ready to use straight out of the box. A warm LED bulb keeps the glow soft and flattering. The iconic mushroom silhouette suits mid century, Scandinavian, Memphis inspired, eclectic and maximalist interiors alike. A pair in matching or contrasting colours either side of a bed creates a fun, coordinated look, and it makes a memorable gift.
