The Rectangular Garden Wall Sconce from Covara Home is a solid black aluminum block with light escaping from the ends, mounted flat to a wall or fence post. It is the plainest fixture in the outdoor range and deliberately so: on a garden wall the light should be the visible thing, not the housing producing it.
Four sizes are offered, from small through to extra large, which covers a subtle marker beside a gate up to a fixture substantial enough to anchor a blank stretch of boundary wall. Three colour temperatures are available: warm where the surrounding planting and brick should stay soft, neutral as a general choice, and white where the effect wanted is closer to architectural lighting than garden lighting.
Both the body and shade are aluminum rather than a painted composite, which is what determines how a fixture looks after three winters outdoors. The LED is integrated so there is no socket exposed to damp and no bulb to replace. The sconce is hardwired and the correct build should be chosen at checkout. This is a permanent outdoor electrical installation: cut power at the breaker before starting, seal the connection against water ingress, and use a licensed electrician.
