Tove is a small flush mount ceiling light in iron, solid wood and PVC, built to be used in numbers rather than alone. It measures 3.94 inches across and 3.15 inches deep and puts out 700 lumens from just 7 watts, so three to five spaced along a hallway ceiling light the whole run evenly instead of pooling light in the middle. It also suits a closet, a pantry, a landing or a small entry.
The colour temperature changes at the wall switch. Turning the light off and back on cycles it through 3000K warm, 4000K neutral and 6000K white, and it holds the setting until cycled again. There is no dimmer to wire, no remote to lose and no app to install. The LED is built in, so there is never a bulb to replace, and the low wattage keeps running costs down when several are installed together.
Seven finishes are available, white, black, pink, blue, green, gray and gold, each ringed in solid wood. The timber edge is what keeps the colour from reading as plastic when standing directly underneath it, and it ties the light into Scandinavian and modern farmhouse interiors alike. Tove is hardwired to a ceiling point, so a licensed electrician is recommended for installation. For indoor dry locations.
