A small pendant shaped like a falling drop of water, with an iron body and an acrylic shade that softens the source without dulling it. The scale is deliberately modest, under ten inches wide, which is what makes it work in a row over a kitchen island or a counter where a larger shade would crowd the space and block the sightline across the room.
Three finishes change the character considerably. Matte black keeps it graphic and recedes against a dark ceiling, gold plating warms the light that bounces off the inside of the shade, and chrome picks up whatever is around it and reads brighter. The 9W LED source runs at 3000K, 4500K or 6000K, selectable, so the same fitting can be warm over a dining table or neutral over a work surface.
The drop length is adjustable at installation, which matters over an island where the correct height depends on the counter and the ceiling rather than on a standard. Sets of two, four, six, eight and ten are available for a run, and buying them together means the finish and the colour temperature match across the group. It also works singly over a side table, in a stairwell, or beside a bed in place of a lamp.
